Cate Larsen is a pop-soul electric guitarist with a touch of jazz-fusion. She and music partner Linda Atkinson on keys are songwriters who co-founded the San Francisco Bay Area band Liquid Girlfriend.

This song is meant to bring a message of love and connectedness to all the people of the world. The simplest teachings of Christianity are used as an example for this song.

DRUMS: The drums are a bit of African mixed with Middle-Eastern rhythms.

CHORUS: The lyrics of the chorus are derived from both the Masai warriors of Africa and the good cheer celebrated in Switzerland.
The first half of the chorus is derived from the fearsome and intelligent Masai warriors of Africa, who greet people by asking "And how are the children?" The response is "All the children are well," meaning that peace and safety prevail. This is meant to remind them that they protect their young and have not forgotten their purpose and responsibilities in life.
The second half of the chorus is derived from a 3-day pagan festival called “Chalandamarz” that’s celebrated in the Romansh-speaking parts of the Swiss canton of Grisons (Graubünden). It marks the beginning of a new year in the Spring, when children ring bells and sing songs to scare away the evil spirits of those cold winters in order to wake up the good spirits of Spring.
